2026 Triumph Rocket 3 R & GT Storm Unveiled with New Colours and Features

Triumph has taken the wraps off the 2026 Rocket 3 R and GT Storm editions for global markets, keeping the world’s biggest production motorcycle engine alive and kicking — but now with a dash of fresh paint to keep things exciting for the new year.

Bold New Colours for 2026

For 2026, the Rocket 3 GT Storm rolls out in an all-new Matt Sapphire Black and Satin Granite shade, giving it a mean, stealthy vibe that suits its cruiser attitude. On the other hand, the Rocket 3 R Storm goes bold with a striking Satin Baja Orange and Matt Sapphire Black combo, making sure you won’t go unnoticed on the streets.

Alongside these fresh shades, Triumph will continue to offer the older colour options, so riders get more ways to match their style with this muscle machine.

Monster Engine, Unmatched Presence

The heart of the Rocket 3 has always been its main highlight — and nothing changes there. It still packs the world’s largest production motorcycle engine, a monstrous 2500cc inline three-cylinder powerhouse. This beast belts out a massive 165bhp and an eye-watering 221Nm of torque, numbers that are enough to humble even the sportiest of bikes at the traffic light.

Tipping the scales at 291kg (dry), the Rocket 3 rides on top-notch Showa inverted forks and a rear monoshock that ensure all that power stays under control. Brembo brakes handle the stopping duties, giving you the confidence to rein in this powerhouse whenever needed.

Loaded with Modern Features

Despite its raw muscle, the Rocket 3 comes packed with modern features for comfort and safety. Riders get a crisp full-colour TFT display with smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. Add to that rider aids like traction control, cornering ABS, hill-hold control for uphill starts, and four riding modes — Rain, Road, Sport, and a Rider-Configurable mode to suit your mood.

Roadster or Cruiser? Pick Your Style

While both share the same brute force, the Rocket 3 R and GT Storm have their own character. The Rocket 3 R Storm is the more roadster-focused machine — stripped back with a cleaner look for riders who want an all-muscle street presence.

The GT Storm leans more towards long-distance cruising. It gets a taller flyscreen for wind protection, a comfy pillion grab rail for two-up touring, and slightly forward-set footpegs for a relaxed ride posture.

Expected India Launch

In India, the Rocket 3 R and GT already retail at ₹22 lakh and ₹22.59 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. With the global unveil done, these fresh colours are expected to make their way to Indian showrooms in the coming months.

Should You Get One?

If you want a motorcycle that is all about big numbers, head-turning looks, and road-dominating presence, the Triumph Rocket 3 R and GT Storm editions make a strong case. They’re not just bikes — they’re statement machines that make every ride an event.
